I recently bought a 1930s house which I knew would require electrical work. On the first walk thru, listing all the small and large jobs, it became obvious that Josh was thoughtful, careful and willing and able to come up with solutions to ensure a good outcome. It has been a pleasure watching a master electrician at work: meticulous, calm, deft, tidy, every job, even the smallest, completed with attention to detail, and all rubbish cleaned up. He checked in to confirm things as needed. There were no 'extras' or hidden fees, and his rates are very reasonable for the quality of work. He also happens to be a lovely bloke.
I got Josh to replace two ceiling light fittings. His communication was always professional. His price was reasonable. He got the quote and the job done in good time. I have had no problems with the work done or anything else regarding him.

Tradesmen are notoriously unreliable so it is refreshing to find one who lives up to the words printed on his business card. I found Josh of Athelstone Electrical to be one of a few tradesmen that can be relied upon to deliver what is agreed and at a competitive price. Josh responded promptly to my initial inquiry, turned up on site at the time agreed, completed the work within the estimated timeframe, and even highlighted (and fixed) a couple of things that he found with existing wiring that was not to today's standard. Josh was friendly and courteous, and his work was undertaken efficiently without mess.
